Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book an appointment?Current clients can either call, text or message me on Facebook. For new clients, please fill out an enquiry form.
What areas do you service?I cover Richmond to Motueka and all areas in between.
How far in advance do I need to book?I recommend 2-6 weeks. Most of my clients are on regular 4-10 week appointments pencilled in for most of the year.
What if my pet has fleas?I kindly ask that all pets are kept up to date with an appropriate flea treatment. If live fleas are found during you pet’s groom, I will let you know and your pet will need to be treated with a capstar treatment to continue the groom.
A $50 flea fee will also apply, which helps cover the additional cleaning and flea bomb required for the trailer, as well as the disruption to appointments while the trailer is taken off the road and treated.
If you know or suspect that your pet has fleas before their appointment, please let me know as soon as possible. I’m happy to reschedule their groom until they have been appropriately treated.
Do you groom both cats & dogs at the same appointment?If they are from the same household then yes. I will always do the cat first, to prevent the wet dog smells that will remain in the trailer after a dog has been groomed.
Is there a fee for late cancellations?More than 24 hours notice
No cancellation fee, I’ll happily find another suitable time for you.
Less than 24 hours notice
A cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service may apply.
No-shows or cancellations when I arrive
The full cost of the booking service may be charged. This also applies if I’m unable to access your pet/property or the power supply required for your booking.
Any outstanding cancellation fee will need to be paid before another appointment can be booked.
I know that genuine emergencies and unexpected situations happen, and these will always be considered on a case by case basis.
What are your qualifications?I have six years of experience grooming dogs, and two grooming cats. I am a Fear Free Certified Professional and am completing the Professional Certified Cat Groomer (PCCG) Course through Groomer Nation in Australia.
